Cabinet Maker

  • Experienced Cert III (or Above) Cabinet Maker/Joiner in Residential Cabinetry
  • Experienced Cert III (or Above) Cabinet Maker/Joiner in Residential Cabinetry with Installation Experience
  • This position is Full-Time, Monday to Friday- 38hr week, with some overtime when required.
  • Applicable Award in Timber Industry Award MA000071 Cert III employees are paid at the General timber stream level 5 rate.

 

As an Employee you will need to be able to:

Complete works in a timely manner, complete required tasks as set out below:

    • Cabinetry is required to be completed at Australian standards and Workplace practices.
    • Arrive and be ready to start work at start of your shift.
    • Provided your own steel cap boots to be worn on every shift.
    • Provide your own way to get to and from work.
    • Further workplace requirements are set out in the workplace handbook.

 

Types of Cabinetry Lifestyle Kitchens Produces:

    • Residential cabinetry including kitchens, laundry, vanity, study areas/nooks, linen and built-ins, outdoor kitchen cabinetry and other.
    • Commercial cabinetry including office furniture, kitchenettes, bathroom partitions and other.

 

Equipment and Products, you will be working with:

    • CNC automated Cutting System Edge bander Powered Cutting Saws and Equipment.
    • All other handheld cabinetry tools.
    • MDF and Whiteboard for building bases and carcass and dress panels of cabinetry
    • Range of Colour board and 2PAC finishes
    • Range of Hardware including blum, krome, finisita and other brands as required.
    • Outsource Stone benchtops.

 

Position 1: Experienced Cert III (or Above) Cabinet Maker/Joiner in Residential Cabinetry

    • Qualified Cabinet Maker with minimum of 2 years’ experience after completing qualification.
    • Experience in CNC operations and panel saws At Lifestyle Kitchens we work with

 

Details of Works include:

Predominantly be working in the Workshop for Lifestyle Kitchens Nq Activities of the job include the following but not limited to:

    • CNC and Panel Saw Operation
    • Edging and Assembling Cabinets
    • Building Overheads, Bulkheads
    • General workshop duties including cleaning, organising area
    • Dry fitting of appliances, loading and unloading of cabinetry for delivery when required
    • An eye for detail Able to read plans, problem solve and work in a team and by yourself
    • Reliable and punctual, and present well
    • Work well with deadlines and be able to keep to the production and installation time frames
    • White card preferred (or we can assist in obtaining)

 

Position 2: Experienced Cert III (or Above) Cabinet Maker/Joiner in Residential Cabinetry and Experience in Installations of Cabinetry

    • Qualified Cabinet Maker with minimum of 2 years’ experience after completing qualification
    • Experience in CNC operations and panel saws At Lifestyle Kitchens we work with

 

Details of Works include:

Work will be both in the workshop and on various sites for installations of cabinetry for Lifestyle Kitchens Nq CNC and Panel Saw Operation Activities of the job include the following but not limited to:

    • Installations of Cabinetry at various sites including residential and commercial premises
    • Edging and Assembling Cabinets
    • Building Overheads, Bulkheads
    • General workshop duties including cleaning, organising area
    • Dry fitting of appliances, loading and unloading of cabinetry for delivery when required
    • An eye for detail Able to read plans, problem solve and work in a team and by yourself
    • Reliable and punctual, and present well
